The help of renowned doctor Dinshaw Pardiwala was taken to reduce Vinesh’s weight but it did not help.

Chef de Mission Gagan Narang of the Indian team in Paris Olympics, Dinshaw Pardiwala, Vinesh’s husband, physio, medical staff and IOA officials tried their best to reduce her weight but they could not succeed. It is being told that Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala even said that we cannot put her life at risk. Vinesh became the first Indian woman wrestler to make it to the finals in wrestling in the Olympics.
Who is Dinesh Pardiwala?
Let us tell you that Dinesh Pardiwala is the same doctor who did the surgery of Indian cricket team’s wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. Earlier, he has also worked with legends Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Jaspreet Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja. He is a sports orthopedic surgeon. He has been working in this field for 22 years. Pardiwala is the director of arthroscopy and shoulder service at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Pardiwala has also been honored with the ISAKOS John Joyce Award in 2009. He was given this award for his outstanding contribution in arthroscopic surgery.
