Vistara’s merger with Air India is going to be completed soon. The process regarding this merger has progressed. Now passengers will be able to book flights through Vistara Airlines only till September 3. These flights will operate till November 11.

Vistara has issued a statement in this regard. Vistara said in the statement, “We are happy to share with you that Vistara and Air India are fully prepared to take the next important step in their integration journey. From 03 September 2024, customers will not be able to book with Vistara for travel on or after 12 November 2024. Vistara will continue to take bookings and operate flights as usual till 11 November 2024.”

Vistara said it will operate its last flight on November 11. After this, all Vistara aircraft will be operated by Air India and bookings for routes operated by these aircraft will be redirected to the Air India website.

Vinod Kannan, Chief Executive Officer, Vistara, said, “We are extremely grateful to all our customers for their support and patronage over the last 10 years. As we continue on our growth journey, we would like to emphasise that this merger is about providing them with more choices with a larger fleet and wider network, while improving the overall travel experience. Vistara and Air India are committed to ensuring that this transition is seamless and hassle-free. We are excited about this new phase of our journey and look forward to welcoming our customers back as Air India very soon.”
