Tata Motors today launched the Curve mid-size SUV at an introductory starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). With its coupe SUV design, the Tata Curve will rival the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Kia Seltos, among others. Based on the new Adaptive Tech Forward Lifestyle (ATLAS) architecture for internal combustion engine (ICE) models, the Curve gets three engine options – 1.2-litre Revotron turbo petrol (120PS and 170Nm), 1.2-litre Hyperion gasoline direct injection (125PS and 225Nm) and 1.5-litre Cryojet diesel (118PS and 260Nm).

All three engines have 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCA automatic options. The Tata Curve is being offered in four variants/personas – Accomplished, Creative, Pure and Smart. Below are the variant-wise Tata Curve prices (ex-showroom, introductory). The automatic variant (DCA) starts at Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Revotron Turbo Petrol, Rs 16.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Hyperion GDI and Rs 13.99 lakh for the Cryojet Diesel. The introductory prices of the Tata Curve are applicable only for bookings made till October 31, 2024.
The new entrant in the highly competitive mid-size SUV segment has six exterior colour options – Gold Essence, Flame Red, Pristine White, Pure Grey, Daytona Grey and Opera Blue. At the front of the Tata Curve you get bi-function full LED headlamps with LED DRLs and LED front fog lamps with cornering function. At the rear, there are connected LED taillamps. There are also sequential turn indicators. The coupe SUV rides on 18-inch alloy wheels. It also has a gesture-controlled powered tailgate.

Inside the cabin, you get features like ventilated front seats, six-way powered driver seat, fully automatic temperature control, four-spoke digital steering wheel with illuminated logo, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment by Harman, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, navigation display on the instrument cluster, touch-based HVAC controls, air purifier with AQI display and a nine-speaker JBL sound system.
