MI said in a statement on Wednesday that the pair of Paras Mhambrey and Lasith Malinga is very dangerous. Mhambrey played a key role in transforming India’s fast bowling department into one of the best lineups in the world. He was a part of the coaching team that won the T20 World Cup and is now making a comeback in Mumbai Indians. He will work with Malinga in the coaching team under head coach Mahela Jayawardene.
Let us tell you that Mhambrey was a part of the coaching team of MI in the first season of IPL in 2008. Even when Mumbai Indians captured the first IPL trophy in 2013 and won the Champions League T20, Mhambrey was associated with the coaching staff of the franchise. Born in Mumbai, Mhambrey played two Tests and three ODIs for India in 1996–98. He took a total of five international wickets.
