After Bihar, an under-construction bridge collapsed in Jharkhand, the accident happened due to heavy rain

After Bihar, now an under-construction bridge has collapsed in Jharkhand. This bridge was being built on the Arga river in Deori block of Giridih district. According to the report, after the rain on Saturday night, the pillar of the bridge collapsed, due to which the girder broke and the bridge collapsed. For information, let us tell you that this bridge was being constructed by the Road Construction Department at a cost of five and a half crores.

According to information received from local villagers, the water level of Arga river rose due to heavy rain on Saturday evening. Around 8 pm, one pillar got bent, after which the girder of the under-construction bridge broke with a loud noise and fell into the river. Local villagers have also informed about another pillar getting bent. Let us tell you, a construction company named Om Namah Shivay had got the contract to build this bridge. Both the government and the company are in the midst of controversies due to not being able to withstand even the first rain.
