Atishi divided the ministries, kept 13 departments with herself, know who got which ministry

Atishi was sworn in as Delhi’s chief minister along with her new council of ministers during a ceremony at Raj Niwas on Saturday. The new council of ministers includes newly inducted Sultanpur Majra MLA Mukesh Ahlawat, besides ministers Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Saurabh Bharadwaj and Imran Hussain. The AAP MLAs met earlier this week and unanimously elected Atishi as the leader of the ruling legislative party. Arvind Kejriwal had resigned as chief minister after being released from jail.

After this, the division of departments of the ministers has also been done. CM Atishi will head 13 existing departments (which were earlier with her) including education, finance, electricity, water. Saurabh Bhardwaj will take charge of eight departments including health, urban development and social welfare. Gopal Rai will have three departments including environment. Kailash Gehlot will take charge of four departments including transport, WCD. Imran Hussain will head the food supply and election department. At the same time, Mukesh Ahlawat will become the minister of four more departments including SC/ST and labor of Delhi.
After taking oath, Atishi said that first of all I want to thank Arvind Kejriwal for trusting me and entrusting me with such a big responsibility. Today I have taken oath as the Chief Minister but it is a very emotional moment for me and all of us when Arvind Kejriwal is not the Chief Minister of Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal is the person who changed the face of Delhi in 10 years, gave free electricity to the people of Delhi, gave good education to the children of Delhi… gave good treatment… today when he is not the Chief Minister, it is an emotional moment for all of us.

He said that he is not the Chief Minister today because the BJP filed false cases against him… but he did not break down, did not get suppressed… Arvind Kejriwal resigned setting an example of honesty and morality in the politics of this country… Now all of us Delhiites have to make Arvind Kejriwal the Chief Minister of Delhi again in the elections to be held in February… I am assuring you that now Arvind Kejriwal is out of jail, now the sewers will be fixed in Delhi, water problems will be solved, roads will be fixed. I want to assure the people of Delhi that now Arvind Kejriwal is out of jail, now we will not let any conspiracy of BJP succeed.
