Before Rakshabandhan, women in Maharashtra got a special gift, now they have got a new identity in the family as the Chief Minister’s sister

I received a gift from my brother before Rakshabandhan!’ These are the feelings expressed by sisters across the state to their brother Chief Minister. The Chief Minister also became emotional with these feelings and the power of blessings of all you lakhs of sisters is with me… In these words, he also accepted the love of his sisters.
 
From last Wednesday (14th August), the amount (3000 rupees) of two installments of ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ has started getting deposited in the accounts of sisters. Till date, Rs. 3000 each has been deposited in the accounts of about 80 lakh sisters and today Chief Minister Eknath Shinde interacted with these beneficiaries in a representative form. During that time, the beneficiary sisters expressed their feelings and openly interacted with their brother Chief Minister, saying that a new identity has been created – I am now the sister of the Chief Minister.
 
Seeing the happiness on the faces of sisters across the state, he said that the problem has been resolved and that this scheme is not only till the elections but will continue in the future as well. Full provision has been made for the scheme for this financial year and you will continue to get the benefits of the scheme, this assurance was given by Chief Minister Mr. Eknath Shinde to his sisters across the state.
 
Expressing happiness over the money of ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ being deposited in the bank accounts of sisters, Chief Minister Mr. Shinde said that this is a gift given by a brother to his sister. Your brother is the Chief Minister today. He is firmly with you. The help given to Laadli sister is not limited to her alone but is a priceless gift for the family as well. Therefore, you will not have to beg for anyone’s dreams. You will use this money for children’s school material, your medicines and to expand your business. Women know very well how to manage the house. Therefore, the government has done the work of strengthening their hands even more through this scheme. Through this scheme, you will grow your business, this will strengthen the economy. Become a job provider through it. This will also create many employment opportunities. The government is committed to the empowerment of women. The government has started 108 schemes for women. Chief Minister Mr. also appealed to the sisters to take advantage of all these schemes by getting information about them. Shinde did it during this time.
 
Chief Minister Mr. Shinde said that today through this scheme, a loving bond has been formed with the sisters. The government is doing whatever is possible for the common man, the weak, the poor, the farmers, the senior citizens, the youth, the workers. When the beneficiaries get the benefits of the schemes being run for all these, they will feel that the work done has been worthwhile. For the empowerment of women, the government is working to enable savings groups through Umeed. Earlier, the loan limit for savings groups was increased to Rs 20 lakh. Now, we will take initiative to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to increase it to Rs 50 lakh. To ensure that girls are not deprived of education, their education does not remain incomplete due to educational fees, the government has also taken the decision to waive 100 percent of the fees for girls’ education.
 
Chief Minister Mr. Shinde said that ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Prashikshan Yojana’ is being run to provide employment to the youth. Through this scheme, skilled human resources are being created in the state. This will also benefit the industries. Industries are being created on a large scale in the state. Those industries will get skilled human resources. Women have been given 50 percent concession in ST travel. Therefore, ST has been in profit. Apart from this, the government is helping the Warkaris. Vayoshri Yojana for senior citizens, Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana, Mukhyamantri Tirthdarshan Yojana, many such public welfare schemes are being run. Not only the construction of roads, bridges, construction of communication resources is important but running public welfare schemes is also important. The government is committed to this and the government is running schemes for every section of the state.
 
Electricity charges for farmers’ agricultural pumps have been waived. 45 lakh agricultural pump holders have benefited from this. Also, under the Namo Samman Yojana, apart from the Centre’s Rs 6,000, the state government’s Rs 6,000 has been increased to Rs 12,000 for farmers.
 
Starting a scheme is not an easy task. It is also not made in a day. The work of making ‘Ladki Bahin Yojana’ started last one year. This scheme has been successful due to the hard work of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Women and Child Welfare Minister Aditi Tatkare, Additional Chief Secretaries and Secretaries of all departments. I congratulate all the officers for taking the scheme to districts like Gadchiroli.
Chief Minister Mr. Shinde said that the government’s aim is to make women capable and self-reliant. For this, the government and the administration are working day and night.
 
During this, all the departmental commissioners of the state including the Secretary of Women and Child Welfare Department, Anup Kumar Yadav, District Magistrates and beneficiary women were present through video conference.
