She is always seen standing with the people of her area in their happiness and sorrow. In the year 2018, she won the gold medal in Australia Commonwealth Games shooting. In 2020, she played a political gamble on a BJP ticket from Jamui assembly seat and won.

Both Shreyasi Singh’s mother and father have been MPs. Late Digvijay Singh and mother Putul Kumari had a good name in politics. Her father was also a Union Minister in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government. Shreyasi Singh was born on 29 August 1991 in Jamui, she belongs to the royal family of Gidhaur (Bihar). Shreyasi Singh did her graduation from Hansraj College, Delhi. Along with this, she also got MBA from Manav Rachna University, Faridabad. She has a very old relationship with the sport of shooting, her father late Digvijay Singh and her grandfather late Kumar Surendra Singh were also fond of shooting, shooting has been inherited by Shreyasi, her grandfather and father have been the President of the Federation of India.

Before entering politics, Shreyasi Singh was also known as a brilliant player. First of all, in 2014, she won the silver medal in the Glasgow (Scotland) Commonwealth Games. In 2018, she won the gold medal in Australia Commonwealth Games shooting. In 2020, she played a political gamble on a BJP ticket from Jamui assembly seat and won. After starting her political journey, Shreyasi kept addressing the people of the region. Along with this, she also kept earning a name in the world of sports. Shreyasi is not only the first public representative of Bihar but also of India who will represent India in the Paris Olympics 2024.

She has brought laurels not only to the state of Bihar but to the entire country, which is a matter of great pride in itself. Talking about Shreyasi’s political career, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the year 2020 at the age of just 30 and contested the MLA election from Jamui assembly constituency of Bihar and defeated Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate Vijay Prakash by more than 41000 votes. Shreyasi Singh was awarded the Arjuna Award by the then President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind in the year 2018.
