Green will undergo surgery to address his back problems, which will keep him out of action for at least six months. Australia has another all-rounder in Mitchell Marsh but Starc believes Green’s absence will affect Australia’s combination.
According to ESPNcricinfo, Starc said, “When you don’t get the services of great all-rounders like Cameron Green or when Ben Stokes is not in the England team, it changes the equation.” There are many all-rounders who have been a part of the team for some time. With him out, you start looking for new options in bowling.
Starc said, “I don’t know what our bowling combination will be like.” There is also a lot of discussion about the bowling of Mitch (Marsh).
