Prime Minister Modi was on a three-day visit to the US and during this he attended the summit of leaders of Quad (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) countries in Wilmington on Saturday, addressed a massive event of thousands of members of the Indian-American community in Long Island on Sunday and addressed the United Nations’ “Summit of the Future” on Monday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at the UN’s ‘Summit of Future’ in New York that success lies in our collective strength and not in the battlefield. Reforms in global institutions are necessary for global peace and development. Reform is the key to relevance. He said that permanent membership of the African Union in the G-20 Summit held in New Delhi was an important step in this direction.
