As the Health Minister of India, I am very pleased to see the Cancer Moonshot initiative launched by the Quad leaders. This will strengthen the fight against cancer and impact the lives of millions of people across the world.
On PM Modi’s US visit, Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda said that PM Narendra Modi’s visit to the US has been significant and meaningful in terms of scale and its results. Every Indian is proud that President Biden hosted PM Modi at his residence in Delaware. This continued engagement between the leaders of the world’s oldest and largest democracies augurs well for global peace and well-being. As the Health Minister of India, I am very pleased to see the Quad leaders launch the Cancer Moonshot initiative. This will strengthen the fight against cancer and impact the lives of millions of people across the world.
Prime Minister Modi was on a three-day visit to the US and during this he attended the summit of leaders of Quad (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) countries in Wilmington on Saturday, addressed a massive event of thousands of members of the Indian-American community in Long Island on Sunday and addressed the United Nations’ “Summit of the Future” on Monday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at the UN’s ‘Summit of Future’ in New York that success lies in our collective strength and not in the battlefield. Reforms in global institutions are necessary for global peace and development. Reform is the key to relevance. He said that permanent membership of the African Union in the G-20 Summit held in New Delhi was an important step in this direction.
