The Medchal-Malkajgiri District Collector has revealed that the High Court has ordered the preparation of a detailed report outlining the extent of encroachment and the current state of the lake beds. Additionally, the court directed the local authorities to define and mark the full tank level (FTL) of the lakes, establish clear boundaries and take necessary steps to preserve the ecosystem of these water bodies.
