Apart from Bittu, the Congress leader’s complaint also names BJP leader Tarvinder Singh Marwah, Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad and Uttar Pradesh minister Raghuraj Singh. A copy of the complaint has also been sent to the Election Commission of India. Ajay Maken said that you are making such comments. ‘Be careful, don’t speak otherwise you will also face the same fate as your grandmother’. Against a person whose father and grandmother sacrificed their lives for the country. Politics can never stoop to this level.
He said that the BJP leader neither tried to silence him nor condemned his remarks. A BJP ally leader said that ‘whoever brings Rahul Gandhi’s tongue after cutting it will get Rs 11 lakh.’ You don’t like his comments because he talks about saving minorities, Dalits, backward classes, workers, the Constitution. We will not be scared of death threats. We have filed a police complaint against him and demanded strict action against him. ‘We have demanded that an FIR be filed against former Delhi BJP MLA (Tarvinder Singh Marwah), Shiv Sena MLA (Sanjay Gaikwad), Union Minister and BJP Rajya Sabha MP from Rajasthan (Ravneet Singh Bittu) and UP minister.
At the same time, Congress leader Sandeep Dixit said that this is a very low level statement. There is violent provocation in it and they are introducing their mentality. They are demonstrating that they have no character or culture. When such statements are made against the opposition leader, there is no reaction from the PM. Earlier, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has written a letter to PM Narendra Modi on the statements of BJP leaders for Congress MP and Lok Sabha leader Rahul Gandhi. In his letter, he wrote that I urge you to rein in such leaders through discipline and decorum. Strict legal action should be taken on such statements so that the downfall of Indian politics can be prevented. While congratulating Modi on his birthday, he wrote that you would be aware that a series of extremely objectionable, violent and rude statements is going on against the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi.
Kharge further wrote that I have to say with sadness that the violent language used by the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party and your alliance parties is fatal for the future. The world is shocked that the Minister of State for Railways in the Central Government, a minister of BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh, is calling the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha “number one terrorist”. He said that an MLA of the alliance party in your government in Maharashtra is announcing a reward of Rs 11 lakh to the person who “cuts off the tongue” of the Leader of the Opposition. A BJP leader and former MLA in Delhi is threatening to make her “fate like Dadi”.

He wrote that Indian culture is known throughout the world for non-violence, harmony and love. Our heroes established these points as standards in politics. Gandhiji had made these standards an important part of politics during the British rule itself. After independence, there has been a long history of respectful agreements between the ruling party and the opposition in the parliamentary circle. This worked to enhance the prestige of Indian democracy.
