Congress MP wrote a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker, demanding action against PM Modi and Anurag Thakur

Congress MP Manickam Tagore has written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP MP Anurag Thakur made “factually incorrect and misleading statements” in the House and demanded appropriate action in the matter. Sources have given this information. Tagore has written a letter to Speaker Birla requesting that the provisions of Direction 115 (1) be applied to the statements made by Modi and Thakur.

The Virudhunagar MP called upon Birla to initiate required action and take appropriate action on the “factually incorrect and misleading statements” made by Prime Minister Modi and Thakur in the House. He said Prime Minister Modi had said in his reply to the motion of thanks on the President’s address that the Congress had made a “false promise” of giving Rs 8,500 per month to women while the party’s promise was conditional on victory and government formation.
