Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today addressed the Indian community in Washington DC. He said that earlier we used to import all defence equipment. When our government came, defence exports were Rs 600 crore, now after 10 years it has reached Rs 23,000 crore. Rajnath Singh said that India and America are natural allies. I believe that India and America have the strength to bring peace, prosperity and stability in the world… cheating is not in our character. We can be cheated, but we can cheat.

Rajnath Singh said that never cheat others, this is the message that should go to the world. We are the country that has given the message of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ to the whole world. The people living in our country are not just members of our family, the world, whether they belong to any caste, religion or community, are members of the same family. ‘The whole world is one family’, if there is one country that has given this message, it is only India. A spiritual country can do this.

Rajnath Singh said that I can say with confidence that India’s stature has increased in the international community. Earlier, India’s opinion was not taken as seriously as it should have been. But, today when India says anything on the global stage, the world listens carefully. Earlier the Indian economy was in the fragile 5, today it is in the encouraging 5. Morgan Stanley has said that no one can stop India from being among the top 3 economies of the world by 2027.
