After joining the Delhi Cabinet as a minister, AAP leader Kailash Gehlot said that as the national convener of the party, we will continue to get guidance from Arvind Kejriwal. Our only goal is to continue working for the people of Delhi as before and bring Arvind Kejriwal back.
Atishi took oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi on Saturday. As the swearing-in ceremony began, an emotional Atishi touched the feet of her ‘guru’ Arvind Kejriwal to seek his blessings and went forward to welcome him. Senior AAP leader Atishi was on Saturday sworn in as the eighth Chief Minister of Delhi by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. Saxena administered the oath of office and secrecy to Atishi. She was elected leader of the legislative party earlier this week after her predecessor Arvind Kejriwal decided to resign.
After being inducted into the Delhi Cabinet as a minister, AAP leader Kailash Gehlot said that as the party’s national convenor, we will continue to get guidance from Arvind Kejriwal. Our only goal is to continue working for the people of Delhi as before and bring Arvind Kejriwal back. AAP MLA Mukesh Ahlawat said that it is all because of Arvind Kejriwal and Baba Saheb that people like me become ministers. We will work as much as possible – working for the Dalit and backward community people will be the priority.
AAP leader Gopal Rai said that this team is of Arvind Kejriwal – its aim is to carry forward the work started by him. In particular, the aim is to work with the people of Delhi to control air pollution as winters are approaching. The AAP government has done many things – people are getting free electricity, better education and other things despite adverse conditions. AAP leader Imran Hussain said that Delhi assembly elections will be held in the next 4-5 months and Delhi will again make Arvind Kejriwal the CM. Work is being done under the guidance of Arvind Kejriwal – whether it is the education model, free water, free bus travel for women or others.
