Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is in judicial custody. Since then, BJP is attacking the Delhi government and his party AAP. Amidst all this, BJP leaders have met President Draupadi Murmu. After this meeting, BJP MLA Vijendra Gupta said that we met President Murmu and requested that the AAP government should be dissolved. He said that the President listened to us carefully and she will take cognizance of the memorandum given by us.
Earlier, the BJP had said that it will raise the issue of “constitutional crisis” in Delhi in the wake of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal going to jail in the alleged scam related to the excise policy. Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Gupta said that a delegation of BJP MLAs will meet the President on Friday evening and submit a memorandum. He said that during the meeting, the issue of not forming the Sixth Delhi Finance Commission and not presenting the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report in the Assembly will also be raised. Gupta claimed that the Kejriwal government in Delhi is steeped in corruption and the administrative system has collapsed.
