More than 45 Indian restaurants serving delicious dishes

Indian cuisine is quite popular in Poland and various Indian restaurants are catering to the growing demand for delicious dishes. Poles who visit Indian restaurants say that dishes like dosa and butter chicken remind them of their visit to India. According to the list of the Indian Embassy in Poland, there are more than 45 Indian restaurants in Poland serving a variety of traditional Indian food, of which at least 12 are in the capital Warsaw.

People are liking Indian food a lot

Anna Maria Rozek, a Polish citizen, said, “I love dosa. The best dosa in Warsaw is at India Gate restaurant and it really reminds me of South India. I have been to Chennai and Kerala many times and the food tastes really similar here.” Chandu, owner of the India Gate food chain, said, “The food here is really delicious… Indian food with lots of spices. Everything has a different flavour. Polish citizens love butter chicken, mango lassi. They love Indian food and Indian people too.” He said Poles love Indian culture and Indian films are doing well in Poland these days.
