Get ready, Maruti Suzuki’s new Dezire will be launched in India on this date in November.

The market of rumors has been hot for some time regarding the launch of the third generation Maruti Suzuki Dezire. However, it has now been confirmed that India’s most popular sedan will officially make its debut in November. Maruti Suzuki will launch the new generation Dzire on November 4 and it will be one of its most important launches as Dzire has always been one of its best-selling cars. The Dzire has been extremely popular and with the new generation, the Dzire will become more premium.

The styling will be differentiated from the Swift which will be one of the main attractions while the interior will also be changed. The interior design will be similar to the new Swift with a layered dashboard but for variation the upholstery will be in a light shade of beige. Turns out the Swift’s honeycomb grille has been swapped out for a new grille design that mirrors Audi’s signature Bavarian beard with multiple thick horizontal slats. The Desire has transitioned from its attractive girl-next-door appearance to a bold street stance, with a muscular bonnet that claims to define character lines.
The interior design will be similar to the new Swift with a layered dashboard but for variation the upholstery will be in a light shade of beige. This gives it a premium look compared to the all black interior of the Swift. Expect a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and features like rear AC vents, climate control, sunroof, connected car technology and 360-degree camera. Unlike the Swift, the new Dezire is likely to get a 360-degree camera. 6 airbags will also be standard.

The new Dezire will have a new engine from the Swift, although there may be some changes to account for the extra weight. The new Dezire will be a bit more expensive than before, so prices could start at Rs 7 lakh for the petrol manual, while the top end petrol AMT is expected to be priced at around Rs 10 lakh, due to the new features. Maruti Suzuki has also updated the lighting design, introducing new angular LED headlamps and LED fog lamps within the redesigned front bumper.
