A tragic incident has come to light from Faridabad near Delhi. It has been raining continuously in Delhi and NCR for the last several days. Waterlogging is also happening continuously due to rain. Due to heavy rain on September 13, a Mahindra XUV got stuck in the Old Faridabad railway underpass and there was a lot of water here. It was prohibited to go in the underpass but even after this, ignoring all kinds of warnings, the car tried to cross the underpass, after which this tragic incident happened and two people lost their lives in this entire incident. Private bank employees, bank manager and cashier were in the car.

Two people died after getting stuck in a car in a railway underpass
The incident was quite tragic. The death of two private bank employees has shocked the entire area. Police reached the spot for investigation and investigated the entire incident. According to the police, the two bank manager and cashier killed in the incident have been identified as Punyashray Sharma (48) and Viraj (26). They were returning to their home in Greater Faridabad from Gurugram.
Due to rain, no one was allowed to go in the water filled railway underpass
According to the police, the underpass was flooded due to the rains on Friday (September 13) and cars were being warned not to enter it as a precaution. They said that at around 11:50 pm, a Mahindra XUV 700 entered the underpass ignoring all warnings and got stuck in deep water, following which water entered the vehicle.

Passersby came to help the victims when they were stuck in the car
Police said passersby tried to help the two people trapped inside the car and pulled them out after a lot of effort, but Viraj died on the spot. They said Sharma was rushed to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital, where he was declared dead. SHO of NIT Faridabad police station, Inspector Sameer Singh said, “Their families have been informed. We will hand over the bodies to the relatives after post-mortem.”
