The Prime Minister will visit Austria on 9-10 July at the invitation of the Austrian Chancellor. This will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first visit to Austria. The last Prime Ministerial visit from India to Austria took place more than 40 years ago.

Speaking on PM Modi’s upcoming visit to Russia, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said that the Prime Minister will pay an official visit to Moscow on the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation for the 22nd Annual Summit on July 8-9. As of now, the Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive in Moscow on the afternoon of July 8. President Putin will host a private dinner for the Prime Minister on the day of arrival. The next day, the Prime Minister’s interactions will include interaction with the Indian community in Russia.

As part of the programme elements, the Prime Minister will also lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Kremlin and thereafter the Prime Minister will visit the Exhibition Ground in Moscow. These meetings will be followed by a restricted level conversation between the two leaders, followed by a bilateral meeting.Delegation level talks will be held under the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Russian President.
