Recently Apple has launched the iPhone 16 series. The iPhone 16 series has been launched in many countries including India. Actually, people who bought the iPhone 16 Pro model priced at Rs 1,19,900 in the market are facing problems with the device and it is related to the screen. According to reports, users have complained of delay in touch response and have noticed that some taps are not registering on the screen.
iPhone 16 Pro display problems
Let us tell you that this problem is limited to the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models that have 120Hz ProMotion displays. The report, quoting a user on Reddit, also mentions that the thin bezels on the iPhone 16 Pro series could also be the cause of the problem.
Apple recently released the iOS 18 update for the new iPhone 16 series and other eligible iPhones. It is likely that the new version has affected the display response and caused this issue. Either way, it is expected that the company will address this issue and possibly fix it with the next iOS 18 update or even a quick patch to make it work on the premium device.
Talking about the iPhone 16 Pro models, by now we all know that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models are being made in India this year even before the launch. But what about the iPhone 16 Pro?
As per the details available on the new iPhone retail box, the iPhone 16 Pro is still being manufactured in China.
Still, Apple has managed to cut the price of the iPhone 16 Pro series in India by Rs 15,000 compared to last year’s Pro version. But how did that happen? The company has likely passed on the benefit of the cut in custom duty announced during the Union Budget 2024 in July to consumers.
Apple is looking to reduce its dependence on China for manufacturing iPhones, and India has already become a strong option to lead it.
