Union Minister and LJP leader Chirag Paswan has given his side on BJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s comment on agricultural laws. He also said that her statements may be controversial, but she speaks her mind. He said that I am not angry with Kangana but she is no longer just an artist but also a member of a political party. ‘I accept the fact that you can have your own personal opinion but when you are a part of a political party, it becomes your responsibility to put forward the topics of that party.

Along with this, Chirag said that she is new to politics, it is taking time for her to understand things but she is intelligent and she will understand these things soon. Earlier, Ranaut withdrew her comments about repealing the three agricultural laws. She clarified that her views were personal and do not represent the BJP’s stand, even as the Congress demanded her expulsion from the party and sought an explanation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Ranaut’s comments have once again put the BJP in a difficult position, especially amid its efforts to retain power in Haryana, a state that witnessed significant protests against the farm laws before they were repealed. Speaking at an event in Mandi on Tuesday, Ranaut said protests against the farm laws were limited to a few states. “Farmers are the pillars of strength in India’s progress. Only in a few states did they object to the farm laws. I appeal with folded hands that the farm laws should be rolled back in the interest of farmers,” she had said.
