Terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah are jointly carrying out frequent attacks on Israel. Protests are still being organized against Israel in many countries of the world. Hatred against Israel and Jews is being spread from mosques of many countries. Amidst all this, Qatar’s newspaper Al Jazeera and terrorist organization Hamas have made a big claim against Israel. Al Jazeera claimed that Israel burnt the copies of the Quran kept in a mosque in Gaza. Al Jazeera’s Arabic channels have reported that Israel has entered Gaza’s Bani Saleh Mosque and insulted the Quran and burnt it.

According to the Gaza government media office, Israel has completely destroyed 610 mosques and three churches in Gaza in the past 10 months. Hamas called on the free peoples of the world to protect Muslim and Christian holy sites in Palestine and act to end the war of annihilation against the Gaza Strip. More than 40,200 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks and large parts of the besieged Palestinian territory have been reduced to rubble. The Council on American-Islamic Relations, a US advocacy group, said the desecration of copies of the Quran and the targeting of mosques in Gaza prove that Israel’s war on the Palestinian people in Gaza is also a war against Islam.

IDF launched a major operation
The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that 12 terrorists were killed, more than ten wanted terrorists were arrested, dozens of explosives were destroyed and weapons were confiscated in an anti-terror operation carried out with the Border Police and Shin Bet (Israel Anti-Terror General Security Service) in Jenin and Tulkarm that lasted 30 hours. The IDF units involved in the operation included combat engineers, paratroopers and the Duvdevan special forces unit. Five of the terrorists killed were hiding in a mosque in Tulkarm and died in a shootout. Amid the operation, Duvdevan fighters under the direction of Shin Bet found an explosive laboratory and an operations center located inside a mosque with the use of drones. During the operation, one IDF soldier was lightly wounded and another was slightly injured. The soldiers were evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital and their families were informed.
