Apart from the state level meeting of the party, BJP has also brought the organization into election mode by holding meetings up to the mandal level. BJP is confident that this time the people of the Union Territory will give it an opportunity to serve. When CricketInFocus correspondent spoke to BJP state spokesperson Altaf Thakur in Srinagar, he said that we are fully prepared for the elections. He said that the Modi government has strengthened democracy at the grassroots level in Jammu and Kashmir, so the voters here are looking at our party with hope. He said that under the Modi government, DDC, BDC, Municipal Corporation and Lok Sabha elections were conducted peacefully in Kashmir, which shows that a big change has come here.

He said that in the last five years, the Modi government has taken many development initiatives for the valley and the BJP will form the government here for the first time.
