Janmashtami is being celebrated with the resolve to regain the ancient glory and form of Shri Krishna’s birthplace

Today, on the occasion of Janmashtami, beautiful tableaus based on Lord Krishna and his life are being seen in temples across the country, and during the organization of Rasleela at various places, the echo of Radhe Radhe and Jai Shri Krishna is also being heard. Today, every boy is Krishna and every girl is Radha. Kanha is being swung on a swing from homes to temples. Politicians are also participating in various events. In this episode, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also reached the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura and visited and worshipped the Lord.
Let us tell you that the Sri Krishna Janmasthan temple will remain open for 20 hours today so that devotees can have uninterrupted darshan on Janmashtami. The temple is usually open for 12 hours. Kapil Sharma, secretary of Sri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Samiti and member Gopeshwar Chaturvedi have told that various programs of Lord’s birth anniversary have started on Saturday at Sri Krishna Janmasthan in Mathura, which will continue till Thursday. Let us tell you that this time the programs related to Janmashtami festival are being organized with the resolve to attain the ancient glory and form of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi. Lord’s birth anniversary is being celebrated according to classical norms and traditions on the birthplace of Yogeshwar Sri Krishna. On Janmashtami, the darshan of Lord’s Mangala Aarti started at 5.30 am with the melodious playing of Shehnai and drums in the morning. After that, Panchamrit Abhishek of Lord was done at 8.00 am. The main program of Janmabhishek will start with the worship of Shri Ganesh-Navgraha etc. at 11.00 pm. The Maha Aarti of Lord’s birth will continue till 12.10 pm.

On the evening of Janmashtami, a traditional procession was taken out by the Sri Krishna Leela Mahotsav Samiti from Bharatpur Gate which reached Sri Krishna Janmasthan via Holigate, Chhatta Bazaar, Swami Ghat, Chowk Bazaar, Mandi Ramdas, Deeg Gate. Let us tell you that all preparations and arrangements have been ensured to make the birth anniversary of Lord Sri Krishna grand and divine. The Lord’s makeup, dress, decoration and arrangements of the temple have been made eye-catching. Also, in accordance with the public sentiments, this time the resolution of the birth anniversary is to ‘regain the ancient glory and form of Sri Krishna’s birthplace’. If seen, this is the time when the people of Mathura and millions of devotees of Lord Sri Krishna spread across the world have only one wish in their hearts that just as Lord Ram’s Pran-Pratishtha has been done in the grand and divine temple in Ayodhya, in the same way, the Pran Pratishtha of his idol should be completed in the grand temple of Lord Sri Krishna in Mathura too.
Let us tell you that the temple administration has appealed to the devotees that the district administration has made arrangements for shoe racks and luggage racks on all the connecting roads of the birthplace, so they should leave their shoes, slippers, bags etc. at the place of stay, because entry to Shri Krishna Janmasthan will be from the northern gate located in Govind Nagar and exit will be from the eastern i.e. main gate. Let us also tell you that for the convenience of the devotees, medical camps and ‘lost and found’ centers are also being run around the temple and at the main places.
