Expelled BJP senior leader KS Eshwarappa on Monday claimed that he is still in the BJP. Speaking to reporters in Shivamogga, Eshwarappa continued his attack on BJP central parliamentary committee member BS Yeddyurappa and his son, party state president BY Vijayendra. “It is wrong that the reins of the party are with the father and son. I contested the Lok Sabha elections with the intention of giving justice to Hindu workers and Hindutva,” he said.

KS Eshwarappa contested the general election as an independent candidate against BY Raghavendra and was successful in getting 30,050 votes. Raghavendra won the election by a margin of 2.43 lakh votes. Commenting on Rahul Gandhi’s recent speech in Parliament, Eshwarappa said that earlier no one dared to criticize the Hindu community. Now opposition leader Rahul Gandhi is targeting Hinduism. He has hurt Hindus.

He said Rahul Gandhi should behave respectfully as per his position, otherwise the entire Hindu community will turn against him. Talking about the Valmiki Adivasi Welfare Board scam, Eshwarappa said, this scam has caught the attention of the country. Despite this, the board chairman has not resigned. Former minister B Nagendra and board chairman Congress MLA Basavaraj Daddal, who resigned after the scam came to light, should be arrested immediately.
