The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Kejriwal on March 21 in the excise policy case. The apex court had granted him interim bail for 21 days on May 10 to campaign in the Lok Sabha elections. However, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Kejriwal on June 26 in another case related to the excise policy while he was in Tihar jail under judicial custody.
