kejriwal got into trouble after announcing his resignation congress bjp reprimanded him

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a big announcement on Sunday and announced his resignation from his post. Addressing the workers at the AAP party headquarters, he said that he will resign from his post two days from today. He said that soon there will be a meeting of MLAs in which the next Chief Minister will be announced. Along with this, he also demanded to conduct elections in Delhi this year. After this announcement of Kejriwal, the politics of Delhi has heated up. While the Aam Aadmi Party is seen supporting Kejriwal’s decision, Congress and BJP have surrounded Kejriwal on his decision of ‘resigning after two days’.

What did Raghav Chadha say in support of Kejriwal’s announcement?

AAP MP Raghav Chadha supported Arvind Kejriwal’s decision. He said, ‘The Chief Minister is ready to undergo the Agni Pariksha. Now it is in the hands of the people of Delhi whether he is honest or not.’ He said that Arvind Kejriwal had sought votes in the name of work in 2020 and said that if I have worked then vote for me, if I have not worked then do not vote for me. Chadha further said, ‘The people of Delhi will declare the Chief Minister honest by voting for AAP and in the upcoming 2025 Delhi elections, the people of Delhi will declare their Chief Minister honest through that election.’

Congress surrounded Kejriwal

Congress leader Sandeep Dixit reacted to CM Arvind Kejriwal’s statement that ‘I am going to resign from the post of CM after 2 days’. He said, ‘There is no question of becoming CM again. We have been saying for a long time that he should resign from the post of CM. This is just a drama.’ He further said, ‘This is the first time that an elected leader has come out of jail on bail and the Supreme Court has asked him not to go to CMO and not to sign any paper. Such conditions have never been imposed on any CM before. Perhaps the Supreme Court is also afraid that this person may try to tamper with the evidence. The Supreme Court is treating him like a criminal. There is no connection between morality and Arvind Kejriwal.’

BJP lashes out at Kejriwal’s decision

BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, ‘Arvind Kejriwal has announced that he will resign after two days and will become CM again after getting the verdict from the people, this is not a sacrifice. The Supreme Court has said in the order that he cannot go near the CM’s chair and cannot sign any file. So, you have no option, you are forced to resign due to the Supreme Court order.’

He further said, ‘People gave their verdict 3 months ago when you asked ‘jail or bail’, you lost all 7 (Delhi’s Lok Sabha seats) and were sent to jail. Now he has asked for two days time because he is convincing all the MLAs to make his wife the CM. He has been forced to leave his chair because he is involved in the liquor scam.’
