He has made this nomination from Kushinagar. Recently, after separating from SP, he has formed Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party. Swami Prasad Maurya is constantly in controversies and headlines due to his statements. Maurya said that earlier also I had worked among the people with priority to the issue of development and respect of the people and as per their wish, I have become the candidate of Kushinagar. Earlier, during the public meeting of Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party chief Swami Prasad Maurya, a shoe was thrown on the stage. The accused was arrested. He told that before this, black flags were shown to Maurya’s convoy and ink was also thrown on the car. According to the information received, Maurya was addressing a public meeting in Fatehpur Sikri Lok Sabha constituency in support of his party’s candidate Hotam Singh Nishad, during which a young man threw a shoe on the stage which hit the mobile recording stand installed on the stage.

This incident created chaos there. However, the police immediately caught the youth and took him to the police station. Inspector Ashok Kumar of Dauki police station said that the youth has been identified as Dharmendra Dhakre. Action is being taken against him. According to the police, Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha workers showed black flags to Swami Prasad Maurya’s convoy on Fatehabad Road and also threw ink on the car. There was a clash between the police and the workers in order to disperse the crowd.
