There are candidates in the third phase of elections who have been former Chief Ministers. In this, two former Chief Ministers are from Madhya Pradesh, one of which is Shivraj Singh Chauhan and the other is Digvijay Singh. Apart from these, there is also former Maharashtra CM Narayan Rane, former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Mumbai and Jagadish Shettar.

Voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections continues on May 7. Voting is being held in 11 states and one union territory during the third phase of voting. A large number of people have started coming out of their homes to vote.

Voting for the third phase has started at 7 am. A total of 1331 candidates are in the fray in the third phase for whom 17.24 crore voters will use their franchise. This includes 8.85 crore male and 8.39 crore female voters.
