Union Minister and former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar hit back at former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) President Dushyant Chautala’s statement “I will not go with the BJP again”, saying, “Who invited him?” Union Minister Khattar expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s victory in the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, saying that the party will form the government for the third time under the leadership of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini. He said, “Who is calling him (Dushyant Chautala)? BJP will form the government in Haryana for the third time and set a new record. We will win the elections under the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini.”

Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) chief Dushyant Chautala on Sunday said that the Jannayak Janta Party will not ally with the BJP for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections and claimed that the party will be the most important party in the days to come. “I can guarantee you on record that I will not go with the BJP again,” Dushyant Chautala said in an interview. When asked about Lok Sabha Election 2024, Chautala said, “I don’t take it as a crisis now. What happened, happened. I see it as an opportunity now. Last time also our party was the kingmaker… You can see the days to come as well, JJP will be the most important political party in the state (Haryana).”

In the last assembly elections held in Haryana, BJP formed the government with the support of 10 JJP MLAs. Earlier, reacting to the remarks of former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala against the BJP, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that Congress wants to finish off the JJP.
