Maruti Suzuki recently launched special editions of the Baleno and Grand Vitara SUVs to boost sales during the festive season. Now, the Indo-Japanese carmaker has launched the Swift Blitz special edition for the festive season. Its retail sale will be done through Maruti Arena dealerships. The Swift Blitz special edition will be sold in limited numbers to boost sales of lower variants of the hatchback. This limited edition will be made available in five variants – LXI, VXI, VXI AMT, VXI (O) and VXI (O) AMT.

These limited edition Swift Blitz will have all the features that are available in the lower-spec variants of the Swift. Additionally, the hatchback gets additional rear underbody spoiler, a boot spoiler, fog lamps, door visors, illuminated door sills and side body moldings. Maruti Suzuki Swift Blitz is available in the price bracket of Rs 6.49 Lakh to Rs 8.02 Lakh. The additional features come in the form of a kit, which costs Rs 49,848. These features are provided free of charge to buyers.
Launched in May 2024, the Swift hatchback is powered by a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, Z-series petrol engine that produces 80bhp and 112Nm of torque. In CNG mode, power and torque outputs drop to 69bhp and 112Nm respectively. A 5-speed manual gearbox comes as standard, while an AMT unit is offered as an optional. The Swift, launched earlier this year, recently added a CNG-powered variant.

The Swift Blitz is the fifth special edition Maruti has launched for the festive season after the Baleno Regal Edition, Grand Vitara Dominion Edition, Wagon R Waltz Edition and Ignis Radiance Edition.
