Meeting held with Resident Commissioner Kundan Kumar at Bihar Niwas

New Delhi. Resident Commissioner Kundan Kumar held an important meeting with Australia’s first Indian-origin mayor and Parramatta Ward (Australia) councillor Sameer Pandey at Bihar Niwas. In this meeting, Bihar’s branding, bonding and business possibilities were discussed in detail. Along with this, the state’s excellent traditional art and craft were also showcased to them at the Biharika Kiosk.

The objective of this meeting was to strengthen the development of Bihar and its global identity. Pandey, who is known for his wisdom and leadership, shared his views on various aspects of Bihar’s development. He discussed in detail how Bihar’s branding can be improved at the global level and gave suggestions to get Bihar’s products recognized in the international market.

Kundan Kumar highlighted Bihar’s cultural heritage, tourist spots, and the potential of various industries here. It was decided in the meeting that more cooperation will be encouraged between the two sides to promote Bihar’s cultural heritage and trade.

Pandey said that Bihar has immense potential and some important steps need to be taken to take it in the right direction. He said, “It is necessary to coordinate efforts at the local and international level to strengthen the branding and bonding of Bihar. Along with this, in the field of trade, we have to work on a solid strategy to take Bihar’s products to the international market.” This important meeting between Bihar Niwas and Parramatta Ward has laid the foundation for a promising future and important steps have been taken towards taking Bihar to a new height.

Let us tell you that Sameer Pandey, who arrived in Australia about twenty years ago, is an IT expert as well as an industrialist, who came to Australia as an engineer. He is a member of the Labor Party and has also contested the assembly elections, in which he lost by a very narrow margin. In 2017, he won the councilor election for the first time and in 2022 he became a councilor for the second time. In 2022 itself, Sameer was elected Deputy Mayor of the Council.
