Congress party has released its manifesto for Jammu Kashmir assembly elections. Releasing the manifesto, Congress leader Pawan Khera said that Kashmir’s youth, farmers, Kashmiri Pandits, middle class, business class, OBCs, all will get their rights. It is our guarantee that everyone will get their rights. Khera said that apple growers will get Rs 72 per kg. 100 percent crop insurance will be given. A special focus has been made on tourism and OBCs. The interests of OBCs will be protected. A minority commission will be formed within 100 days of the formation of the government. The plan for rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits will be started again. The long dark night is about to end and a new morning is coming.

Let us tell you that elections for the 90-member assembly of the state will be held in three phases on September 18, September 25 and October 1. Counting of votes will take place on October 8. NC and Congress have formed a pre-poll alliance, in which Farooq Abdullah’s party is contesting on 51 seats and Congress on 32 seats. CPI (M) and Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) have been allotted one seat each, while both the parties are contesting friendly on five seats. On giving more seats to NC, Solanki said that the welfare of the people is more important for the party than anything else.

Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Jammu today. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the clear fight in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections is between the Congress-National Conference alliance and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that while one side wants to bring back Article 370, the other is committed to stopping it. Shah said that voting in favour of BJP candidate Shagun Parihar is not only supporting development and progress, but it is also a tribute to other martyrs including his father. Shah said at a rally here, “This election in Jammu and Kashmir is clearly between two forces.
