Roe said that the Soros group recognized that Audacy’s level of foreign ownership would be higher than this, and yet requested that the FCC expedite approval of the application for ownership so that “they would be able to expand their ownership to hundreds of these local radio stations across the country.” To allow interests to be realized more quickly and to take charge.
