The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday conducted searches at four locations across Punjab in a case related to terror-related activities and incitement to violence by SFJ leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. NIA teams conducted raids at one location in Moga, two locations in Bathinda and one location in Mohali. Various incriminating material, including digital devices, were seized during the NIA searches, which are being investigated.

A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided the house of Kulwant Singh, a factory worker, in Punjab’s Moga district. Sources said Kulwant Singh was questioned about pro-Khalistan news articles and other material he allegedly shared on social media. Speaking to local journalists in his village Bilaspur, Kulwant Singh said they questioned me about pro-Khalistan news articles and other material from abroad which I usually read and listen to on social media.

They did not serve me any notice. A senior Moga police official said the NIA team questioned Kulwant Singh as he had allegedly shared some radical, pro-Khalistan content on his social media accounts. Kulwant Singh works as a driver in a cement factory.
