Birth and education
Nirmala Sitharaman was born in a Brahmin family on 18 August 1959 in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu. Her father’s name is Narayan Sitharaman and mother’s name is Savitri Devi. Sitharaman had a love marriage while studying. After marriage, she shifted to London. Then in the year 1991, she returned to India with her husband and settled in Hyderabad.
career
