In a surprising move, the company has also added a limited time order facility for the festival. They have activated international orders so that people living abroad can order rakhis for their siblings and India. CEO Albinder Dhindsa announced the new facility and said that it will be delivered “in 10 minutes”.
In his post, Dhindsa wrote, “Raksha Bandhan Special – We have enabled international orders on Blinkit till 19th August. People living abroad can now place an order on Blinkit to send rakhis and gifts to their siblings in India and we will deliver within 10 minutes!” He added that this special service is available in select countries – the US, Canada, Netherlands, Germany, France and Japan. Since being shared, the post has garnered over 11,000 views and nearly 400 likes. While some people had questions about this limited-time feature, others appreciated Blinkit’s move. Just like this person wrote, “Blinkit never disappoints us.” Another person said, “Really? If yes, you are winning the world – one rakhi at a time.”
