Union Information and Broadcasting and Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, while reacting to former Punjab Chief Minister and Congress leader Charanjit Singh Channi terming the terrorist attack in Poonch as a stunt, termed it as shameful and said that Congress today Till then never stood with the army. These are the same people who always question the capability of the army and demand proof of the bravery of our soldiers. He did the same during surgical strike, air strike and Doklam. Insulting the bravery of the Indian Army has become their habit.

Anurag Thakur said that this has been an old habit of Congress. Congress leaders even pay commission in the weapons and equipment of the army. Jeep scam, Bofors scam, AgustaWestland scam etc. are just a few examples. Today Congress is saying that nuclear weapons should be eliminated from the country. After all, what kind of thinking is this? After all, how many times will Congress join hands with foreign powers? Congress should tell what is its compulsion that it is necessary to stoop so low at the time of elections?

Responding to Farooq Abdullah’s statement, Anurag Thakur said, “Rahul Gandhi and Farooq Abdullah can praise Pakistan as much as they want, but it is 100% true that today’s India kills terrorists by entering their homes and carrying out air strikes. These are the same people who used to say that no one can remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, but Modi ji also removed Article 370 and today there is peace and development in Kashmir. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, who never used to go to Kashmir before, now embrace each other with 81% and 50% of civilian and military deaths respectively. There has been a decline in stone pelting, there has been a huge decline in separatism, today more than 2 crore tourists are going to Kashmir, hence they are feeling bad. On one hand they used to crush democracy in Kashmir and on the other hand they used to loot Kashmiris.
