Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged the international community at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to take decisive action against the Israeli offensive in Gaza. Whereas Shahbaz mentioned Kashmir and talked about atrocities there. Now the news is that Shahbaz’s statement will be responded to by India. It is being told that India’s reply will be given in the Right of Reply.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while addressing the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Friday, began his speech by reciting verses from the Holy Quran. Congratulating him on his recent election as President of the UN General Assembly, Sharif said it is an honor for me to address the General Assembly for the second time as Prime Minister. Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to the UN Charter, Shahbaz highlighted several challenges facing the world. While speaking on Israel and Gaza, Shahbaz returned to his old agenda. He said that the Kashmir issue remains on the agenda of the United Nations Security Council.

He called on the international community to focus on the humanitarian crisis in the region, where he said the Indian Army continues to commit atrocities against the Kashmiri people.
