The 33rd Olympics have been organized in Paris, the capital of France. During this, the opening ceremony was organized, although this event was not held in any stadium but on the Seine River. At the same time, Greece was the first country to parade in this ceremony. Let us tell you that Greece is also called the originator of the Olympic Games.

PV Sindhu and table tennis legend Sharath Kamal were the flag bearers for India in this Olympics, which will run from 26 July to 11 August. Both these players are the first players to become India’s flag bearer in the opening ceremony of the Olympics in their respective sports.

117 players from India are participating in these games, out of which 47 are women. Many players have competitions on Saturday, so giving priority to preparations, they participated in the opening ceremony.

The boats passed by the city’s historic buildings, including the Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Louvre Museum and several other venues. More than 200,000 free tickets were given away for the opening ceremony in the city, while more than 100,000 tickets were sold.

During the ceremony, a great performance by the artists was also seen amidst the floating parade. About 80 artists also performed the famous French cabaret dance Can-Can. Before this, Lady Gaga set the stage on fire with her performance. Lady Gaga presented the famous song Mon Truc en Plumes of the late French actress Gigi Jeanmaire. Jeanmaire died in the year 2020 at the age of 96.
