He said that people are very angry with the BJP for dividing such a large state into two parts and giving it the status of a union territory. The government has not paid any special attention to the welfare of youth, women, widows and the elderly. Apart from this, people are troubled by the ever-increasing inflation under the current government.
That is why people are ready to show their anger through their votes in this assembly election. The Congress leader claimed that after his government is formed, there will be a thorough investigation of the widespread corruption in the state. Apart from this, the government will also try to provide government jobs to the youth on a large scale. The government will also consider starting many types of pension schemes for widows, women and old people.
Describing his priorities after winning the election, the Congress candidate said that he would first ensure the reconstruction of dilapidated roads in the constituency. Apart from roads, his special agenda would be to improve electricity, water, education and health in the area. Yogesh Sahni said that he has entered politics with the spirit of serving the people and even after winning the election, serving the people will be one of his top priorities. He also described the alliance between Congress and National Conference in the state as the right decision of the party and expressed confidence that the people of the region have made up their mind to form a government of this alliance in Jammu and Kashmir.
