PM Modi honored Lakhpati sisters in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, targeted opposition parties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday reached Jalgaon in Maharashtra and participated in the ‘Lakhpati Didi Sammelan’. 11 lakh new Lakhpati Didis were honored in this conference. During this, Prime Minister Modi addressed the program and also interacted with many ‘Lakhpati Didis’. Apart from this, the PM also released a revolving fund of Rs 2,500 crore, which will benefit about 48 lakh members of 4.3 lakh self-help groups.
Addressing the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan, PM Modi said, ‘Today, the Lakhpati Didi Maha Sammelan is being held here. My sisters are present here in large numbers. Today, an amount of more than 6 thousand crores has been released from here for lakhs of Sakhi Mandals across the country. Best wishes to all my mothers and sisters.’ He further said that in Maharashtra, many new schemes are being run for mothers and sisters, youth and farmers. This campaign to make Lakhpati Didi is not just a campaign to increase the income of sisters and daughters. It is empowering the entire family, the coming generations. It is changing the entire economy of the village.

PM Modi said, ‘When I came among you during the Lok Sabha elections, I had said that we have to make 3 crore sisters Lakhpati Didi. In the last 10 years, one crore Lakhpati Didi became and in the last two months only, 11 lakh more Lakhpati Didi have joined them.’ He further said that earlier crores of sisters of the country did not have any property in their name. If they had to take a loan from the bank, they could not get it. In such a situation, even if they wanted to do any small work, they could not do it. That is why this brother of yours, your son took a resolution. I decided that whatever happens – I will reduce every difficulty of the mothers, sisters and daughters of my country. That is why the Modi government took decisions in the interest of women one after the other.
Referring to his visit to Poland, PM Modi told the people of Maharashtra, ‘The people of Poland respect the people of Maharashtra a lot. There is a Kolhapur Memorial in the capital there. The people of Poland have built this memorial to honor the spirit of service and hospitality of the people of Kolhapur. During the Second World War, thousands of mothers and children from Poland were given shelter by the royal family of Kolhapur.’
Targeting the opposition parties, PM Modi said, ‘Today I challenge you – keep the seven decades of the previous governments on one side and 10 years of the Modi government on the other scale, the amount of work that the Modi government has done for the sisters and daughters of the country, no government has done that after independence.’

Referring to the work done by his government, the PM said, ‘Our government decided that the houses that the government builds for the poor should be registered in the name of women. Most of the 4 crore houses built so far are in the name of women. We are going to build 3 crore more houses, most of these houses will also be in the name of our mothers and sisters.’ He further said that our government is opening every sector for daughters, where there were restrictions on them. Today women officers are being deployed in the three armies, fighter pilots are being deployed. From agriculture and dairy sector in villages to the start-up revolution, today a large number of daughters are managing business.
PM Modi said, ‘Today more than 1.25 lakh bank sakhis are providing banking services in every village. Now we are also making our sisters drone pilots so that they can help farmers in modern farming with drones. We are giving leadership to Nari Shakti for modern farming and natural farming, for this we have started Krishi Sakhi program.’
