Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return home today after concluding his three-day visit to the US. Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Delhi after concluding his three-day visit to the US. During his three-day visit, he attended the Summit of the Future and the Quad Leaders Summit at the United Nations in New York. Along with this, he also held some important bilateral meetings during his visit. Giving information about PM Modi’s visit, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that today the Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) held a meeting with Vietnam President To Lam. PM Modi concluded his day’s program with a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. During the community event, the Prime Minister announced the opening of 2 new consulates in Boston and Los Angeles.

This is probably the third meeting between the two leaders in a span of three months… Bilateral issues as well as issues related to the Russia-Ukraine conflict were discussed. President Zelensky highly appreciated India’s sensitivity to these issues. He said that the Prime Minister’s visit was highly appreciated, thanked him for the efforts being made by the Prime Minister to find peace and a way out of this conflict. Both sides appreciated that bilateral relations have seen positive development on many issues. Both sides agreed to remain in close contact with each other.

In a way, in the meeting with President Zelensky, Prime Minister Modi also got a chance to say that he has always talked about moving forward on the path of peace by proposing peace, it is clear that if there is no peace then there can be no sustainable development. Only time will tell whether the war will end or not, but everyone’s efforts are focused on finding an end to the war. In a conversation with President Zelensky, Prime Minister Modi also told him that he has spoken to the leaders of various countries and talks keep happening on this subject. Everyone’s opinion is that somehow we will have to find a way to ceasefire in the war and our efforts are also continuing in this regard.
