Describing India’s title campaign as inspirational, Shah said, “The players faced the critics and silenced them with brilliant performances time and again. The journey of the players has been inspiring and today they have joined the category of great players.” He also praised the hard work of the team and said, “This team has made everyone proud with its dedication, hard work and indomitable spirit. Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma and with the help of Virat Kohli, Jaspreet Bumrah and other players, they have fulfilled the dreams and expectations of 1.4 billion Indians.
