Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Thursday claimed blood ties with the people of Jammu and Kashmir and declared restoration of statehood a priority for both him and his party. Along with this, while addressing Congress workers in Jammu, he said that you have destroyed the confidence of PM Modi. In his statement, he said that you fight for us and this is a battle of ideology between Congress and RSS.

Rahul said that I sit in Parliament, I see him (PM Modi). I can tell you that you have destroyed the confidence of PM Modi. Congress workers have given him so much psychological stress that his psychology is destroyed. That is why I call you people the Babbar Sher of the Congress Party. He said that we want statehood for you, it is in your heart. We want you to run your state according to your will, we have come to give this message.
The Congress leader said that Jammu has a culture, a history, it is the land of Maa Vaishno Devi, your lifestyle and way of thinking is different. Every state has a different style, we want all these cultures, history and languages to be protected. We want you to have a voice in your government. BJP’s thinking is different, they want to run the whole country through remote control from Nagpur. The complaint you are making is that outsiders are getting benefits, if you go to Maharashtra, you will also hear similar complaints.

He said that the people of the country and the workers of the Congress party have protected democracy and the Constitution. I want to congratulate you from the bottom of my heart. Wherever they did any mischief, all the Congress workers were seen standing in front of them. If they try to bring any wrong bill, we will get it cancelled.
