Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) has committed to invest in renewable projects by 2030.
Gandhinagar. Adani Group said that it has pledged to invest Rs 4,05,800 crore in renewable energy projects like solar, wind and green hydrogen during the fourth Global Renewable Energy Investor Conference and Exhibition (RE-INVEST) 2024. According to the affidavits submitted to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in RE-INVEST 2024, the group companies – Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) and Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) have committed to invest in renewable projects by 2030.
Adani Green Energy, India’s largest renewable energy company, has committed to 50 GW of RE capacity by 2030 (currently 11.2 GW of operational capacity). Adani New Industries will set up 10 GW of solar manufacturing plant, 5 GW of wind manufacturing, 10 GW of green hydrogen production and 5 GW of electrolyser manufacturing plant. These investments are expected to generate employment for 71,100 people.
