During this time, Mukesh Ambani has also given a statement regarding the rumors of layoffs happening in the company. Mukesh Ambani said that the news of job cuts is a rumor and misleading. He said that many jobs have been added in Reliance during the year 2020-23-24. He said that Reliance has given more than 1.7 lakh new jobs in this one year. Due to these jobs, the total number of employees in the company has exceeded 6.5 lakh.

He said that the future is much brighter than the past. Ambani said that Jio today stands as a major technology innovator. Describing AI as possibly the biggest transformative event in the development of mankind, he said that it has opened up opportunities to solve many complex problems facing mankind.
He said, “I told you last year that Reliance has now become a net producer of technology. Revolutionary technologies and innovations have always been the biggest wealth creators for countries as well as the corporate world.
