According to Cricbuzz, all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan on Thursday announced that he has expressed his desire to retire from Test cricket to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) with the end of the home series against South Africa in Mirpur next month. However, this depends on whether the legendary all-rounder gets security clearance to play in that series. If this does not happen, the Kanpur Test to be played against India will be the last Test match of his career.
