We discussed various issues of the country and the world with him. We asked him questions about Russia-Ukraine and wanted to know what plan Vladimir Putin is trying to take forward. On the other hand, there are constant reports about Iran. Iran has indicated talks with the US somewhere. Why is this happening? We also asked Brigadier Tripathi questions about this. We also discussed with Brigadier Tripathi about the fight between Israel and Hamas in this program. Along with this, we also tried to understand from Brigadier Tripathi what benefits India has gained from the visit of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who was recently on a visit to the US.

Question- Russia has made its attacks on Ukraine more aggressive. On the other hand, Ukraine is also claiming that it has occupied an area of 1260 square kilometers inside Russia. It is also being said that talks were also going on regarding the peace proposal. How do you see this?
– In response to this question, Brigadier Tripathi said that this is the first war after World War 2 which is going on for so long. He said that the war is at a new turn and this war is being fought on the basis of Putin’s thinking. Ukrainian President Zelensky also has his own plan. He said that Ukraine is claiming that it has occupied some parts of Russia. However, that is an area where Russia was not that strong. Ukraine is definitely getting psychological advantage by occupying that area. But the surprising thing is that Putin has not taken any action so far. Along with this, Brigadier Tripathi also said that Putin may wage a two-way war against Ukraine in the coming days. Ukraine is stagnant in the area where it has entered Russia, it is not able to move forward. It is possible that after a few days the Russian army may attack the Ukrainian army from behind. Brigadier Tripathi also said that the President of Ukraine wants to send a message to the Western countries that we are not weak yet, we are strong. However, Russia has intensified its attacks on Kharkiv. Russia never targets civilian areas. There have been continuous efforts for dialogue. There have also been efforts to restore peace. But this is not continuing.
Question- Iran’s supreme leader Khamenei has agreed to hold talks with the US on the nuclear programme. Is this a sign of a change in Iran’s attitude towards the US?
Brigadier Tripathi said that America has been continuously giving such warnings. America must have some strategy behind this. Somewhere it is trying to put pressure on Iran. On the other hand, there is pressure on Iran too. Questions are being raised as to why Iran has not taken any action till now. America is trying to send a message to Iran. At the same time, America is also telling that it is with Israel in every situation. He said that Iran may be waiting for its time. Iran can launch a proxy war instead of a direct fight. At present, Iran is facing economic problems. Its economic problems are increasing continuously. Perhaps this is the reason why it has agreed to talk with America because many types of sanctions have been imposed on it. If it gets relief from sanctions, the way forward may become easier for Iran.
Question- Israel has increased its military action in Gaza. It has also carried out many attacks on Hezbollah’s bases in Lebanon. The peace talks have also not progressed. How do you view this?
Brigadier Tripathi said that this war is not taking the name of abating. Peace processes are constantly being obstructed. On our part, this week we saw how firing was done from Hezbollah’s side. After this, Israel has also retaliated. Israel has taken action on Hezbollah’s bases in Lebanon. The fighting is constantly increasing from both sides. Israel is not taking the name of stopping regarding Gaza. It is also continuously running its operation in the West Bank. Tripathi said that Israel wants to destroy Hamas at all costs. He said that earlier there were talks of a peace plan but it is being detailed again and again. Benjamin Netanyahu is also under pressure from the right wing. Therefore, consensus is not being reached regarding the talks. America is trying to bring a bridging plan. However, it does not seem to be of any benefit. Joe Biden is also silent after being out of the presidential candidate race. Kamala Harris and Trump are also not saying much about the Israel issue.

Question- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has recently completed his US tour. What has been his achievement during this visit?
Regarding the US visit of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Brigadier Tripathi said that in today’s time, keeping oneself strong is the biggest need for every country. India is constantly talking about moving towards self-reliance. We are talking about Make in India. In such a situation, the cooperation of countries like America is very important for us. Brigadier Tripathi said that our talks with America are going on continuously. This visit of Rajnath Singh is very important to speed it up. Regional issues were discussed with Rajnath. Along with this, co-production has also been added. There was a discussion to speed up the defense deal. India and America are preparing to work together in space and industry. In such a situation, India can get tremendous benefits in the coming days due to this visit of Rajnath.
